Jio Phone Quick Review :
Mr. Ambani never skips any chance to surprise his costumers. The craze of affordable Jio plans was not over yet and he dropped another present in the market. The telecom subsidiary of Reliance Industries, Reliance JioInfocomm launches its Jio Phone in July 2017.
The phone has a 2.40-inch display size with QVGA display and a resolution of 240×320 pixels. It is a single Sim phone with GSM enabled. Other connectivity options include Bluetooth, NFC, Headphones, FM and 4 G. the 4G service supports for Band 40 used by some of the LTE networks in the country.

The model lacks Front Camera with no flash and the option to remove the battery from the back is also not there. Till now it is available in only one color and that is black. Also, the phone lacks touch screen quality. It has space for expandable storage in the form of microSD card. Also, from the MyJio App the device music and other media related entertainment can be enjoyed.
Since it’s a simple phone it lacks GPS and Wi-Fi connectivity. The bluetooth of the phone has a version of 4.10. It does not have any Infrared and USB OTG connectivity. This model lacks any sort of Sensors like Compass, Proximity, Accelerometer, Ambient light, Gyroscope, Barometer or any temperature sensor.
The good part is that the phone supports voice commands in 22 Languages which makes itmore user friendly to the diverse population of the country. Along with this it comes with a panic button which works by long pressing the button 5 on its alphanumeric keypad.

The handset does not support WhatsApp as of now but has Web Browser, Facebook and our Prime Minister’s Mann Ki Baat App.
As of now users have given it a rate of 4.1 out of 5 though the sample to rate is very low; only 30 ratings. The pre booking for this starts from August 24 of this year; the orders can be placed in any form, online or offline. According to sources if you fall in beta trial bracket (a very small section of the market) then you can enjoy the services from August 15 of this year, if not then you have to wait for August 24 to get the booking done.
Jio Phone Price :
According to the Chairman of Reliance Industries, Mr. Ambani, the phone is free of cost. It requires the user to pay amount 1500 INR which will be refundable after three tears when you return the phone. The amount will be like a security deposit, they said, “The security deposit is necessary to avoid any potential misuse of data.”
Jio Phone online booking and registration process :
For online booking you need to have MyJio App, if you do not have this app then you can contact your nearest Jio store. The orders will be placed from August 24 but the handset will be delivered in the month of September on first-cum-first-serve basis.
Some analysts say that Reliance Jio is aiming to reach 100 million users with the launch of this phone. This will be in addition to the current bank of 125 million users.
